Challenger Blog/Why I Train Even When I Don't Feel Like It

I didn’t feel like training today.

My body was tired.
My mind was distracted.
And every excuse sounded justifiable.

But I did it anyway.

Because I don’t train for how it makes me feel right now.
I train to become the kind of man who keeps his word…especially to himself.

Most people let their mood dictate their actions.
I’m done living like that.

Mood is a Liar.
Discipline is Truth.

Discipline says:
I don’t care how you FEEL…
I care who you said you wanted to BECOME!

So I train…tired, unmotivated, distracted, sore.
Because every rep is a reminder:
I’m not here to feel good.
I’m here to be GREAT…

Here’s your Challenge:
When was the last time you did what needed to be done…even when you didn’t feel like it?

And if it’s been a while…

Ask yourself this:

Are you living by discipline?
Or are you still a slave to your moods?

Choose one.

Then live like it.

Challenge Accepted.
